Understanding Musk
Elon Musk has every right to be angry with President Trump. He even has a right to be wrong. Whether he is right or wrong is up to the beholder, some will agree, others disagree. But his words were so excessively intemperate, his damning by innuendo not evidence so grave, and his rants so caustic that they leave us looking for an explanation for his irrationality.
Poor guy…the wages of genius are Asperger’s and hypomania, a brutal trade off resulting in the imposition of exacting wages. Each beneficiary is a sufferer, and each must decide for themselves whether to be grateful or bitter. (or both) I’m grateful for Elon, I believe he loves America and that the contributions he has already made to the common good are immeasurable.
I empathize with him for the burden he bears due the boomerang effects of astronomical highs (pun intended) and bouts of stygian bleakness. His exaggerated ravings were not logical but there are logical explanations for them. I hope he will make amends, not grovel, and that the President will exercise magnanimity to welcome him back to the fold. When they are working together America is well served. Presumably, they agree that American prosperity is the priority and must prevail over personal pique.
I have watched Pinsky for years. I have grown to trust him and his analyses, always measured, never hyperbolic, compassionate, pragmatic, and learned. “Forgiveness is the Fragrance that the Violet Sheds on the Heal that has Crushed it.” Mark Twain
